This screenshot tool fetches website HTML using the Corsfix CORS proxy, renders it in an invisible element, and then converts it to an image. HTML-to-image conversion may not perfectly match the actual website appearance. Results can vary between browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc.) due to different rendering engines. Another limitation is it doesn't work with dynamic JavaScript element.

We use a library called snapdom, which processes HTML and converts it to SVG format. The library then handles additional processing for styles, fonts, and other elements before finally converting the SVG to an image format. For automating website screenshot you might consider using a proper API such as ScreenshotOne.

Corsfix is a CORS proxy service that enables cross-origin requests. We use it to fetch website HTML since direct fetching would be blocked by browser CORS policies.
