Corsfix is Open Source!

I’m excited to announce that Corsfix is now open source! This is a significant milestone for us as we continue to pursue the mission of making network requests on the web easy and secure.

By open sourcing our platform, we’re taking a step toward transparency and showing our commitment to keeping your requests safe and secure.

Why We’re Open Sourcing

Transparency - When using a CORS proxy or any proxy service, it involves some levels of trust. We believe in transparency, which is reflected in our policy of not logging your requests. Now you can verify this by auditing our code directly.

Privacy - We understand that some users may have specific privacy requirements. With Corsfix being open source, you can self-host the platform on your own infrastructure, giving you complete control over your data and privacy.

Growth - Our product and features are constantly evolving based on user feedback. Now that we’re open source, this improvement cycle will accelerate even further as you can directly contribute for ideas and suggestions.

What This Means for Existing Users

Nothing changes for your day-to-day usage, as we’ll continue offering our hosted service, and you can keep using the proxy exactly as you do now. However, you can now directly get involved in improving the product and shaping its future.
